We are followers of the doctrine of Christ. We seek to study and practice the only word of God, the Bible. We are not bound by denominational ties, traditions, doctrines, or organizations. We are not a denomination. We have no creeds or confessions of faith; the Bible alone is our source of faith (Romans 10:17). We strive to practice simple New Testament Christianity. We desire to be the church that Christ built (Matthew 16:18)--the church of Christ (Romans 16:16).

Our Worship

You may notice that our worship is distinctive. We don't use instrumental music, we sing Accapella. The New Testament tells us that worship music under Christ's rule is singing words with one another in praise to God (Ephesians 5:19; Colossians 3:16) to teach and admonish each other. We also partake of the Lord's supper on the first day of the week as the Bible teaches us to do (Acts 20:7). Our preaching is also distinctive. We seek to "speak as the oracles of God" (1 Peter 4:11), so you will hear many scripture quotations in the sermon. We give as we are prospered (1 Corinthians 16:1,2). We pray to the Father through the Son (Colossians 3:17). Our worship is not frilly or glamorous, but it is what God expects of us--to worship in spirit and in truth (John 4:24).
